South Vietnamese Spokesman: "We have no plans regarding that." Reporter: "Is there a possibility?" Spokesman:"I don't know." Reporter: "What is your interpretation of the fact that Mr Kissinger came to visit the Vice-President today, is that not a sign that there is a breakthrough in the peace talks ?" Spokesman:"Mr Kissinger had planned to see the Vice-President because the Vice-President is here and Mr Kissinger came to Europe, it is natural that he would come and see the Vice-President." Reporter: "But why did Mr Kissinger come to Europe ?" Spokesman: "I don't know sir, you'll have to ask Mr Kissinger." Reporter: "Can you tell us if they discussed at all the peace talks ?" Spokesman:" Of course they did. They discussed about the peace talks which is part of the Vietnamese problem." Reporter: "Did they discuss the question of the South Vietnamese Government being represented in any cease-fire ?" Spokesman:"I don't know what you're referring to." Reporter: "Well, President Thieu, In July, said that it was important that in any cease-fire that the South Vietnamese Government should also be represented." Spokesman:"Sir, I can't imagine a country that has a million men under arms be not represented at a cease-fire. Who do you cease-fire with ?"
