- Story Text: Dozens of people were killed in air strikes by the Saudi-led military coalition in Yemen on Sunday (September 1), the Houthis said.
The coalition said it had launched air strikes on Houthi military targets and destroyed a site storing drones and missiles in Dhamar in southwest Yemen.
The Houthi-run media said the strikes had hit a prison.
Houthi officials said at least 50 bodies had been pulled out from the rubble and rescuers were still searching.
The Western-backed alliance intervened in Yemen in March 2015 against the Houthis after they ousted the internationally recognised government from power in the capital, Sanaa, in late 2014.
