- Story Text: The first hands and feet ceremony in Hollywood since January took place on Monday (November 16).
Michael Madsen, famous for his roles in Quentin Tarantino films, took to the podium, where celebrities usually talk about their careers.
However, Madsen, noticing his wife DeAnna was in attendance, turned his attention to her and asked for her forgiveness.
He said "I love you DeAnna. I don't know what else to say to you, honey, other than I made a lot of mistakes and I did a lot of bad things and if you give me time, I'll try and make up for them, okay? Okay?"
"I'm sorry for all the things that happened in the last few days. I'm glad you're here now," he added.
Madsen also showed off an injury to his forehead, saying "I hit my head the other day and I was in the hospital and I didn't think I was going to make it but I did and I wouldn't have missed it for the world."
The 'Reservoir Dogs' actor struggled with another part of the ceremony, with organizers stepping in to help take off his cowboy boots to imprint them in the cement.
The event was hosted with limited media and guests socially distanced six feet apart. Temperatures were also taken on entry.
Master of ceremonies and TCL Chinese Theatre's operations manager, Levi Tinker, said "We've always had a very safe environment for these ceremonies and we've just enhanced that even more from what we've done in the past and so I think it turned exceptionally well today and it's exciting to see this going forward and continuing again here in the future."
