- Story Text: Belgian Dries Van Noten, Australian Colette Dinnigan and British designer John Galiano for Dior have unveiled their autumn and winter Ready-to-Wear collections in Paris.
From the boots to the padded belts, Imperial Japan was dominant in Belgian designer Dries Van Noten's vision of this autumn's streetwear on Tuesday (March 10).
In a show of women's ready-to-wear full of contrasts martial imagery had to compete and combine with fragile-looking colours and textures.
Australian designer Colette Dinnigan unveiled close-fitting white satin dresses, undergarments and culottes. The evening wear is simple with long black sequined dresses.
John Galliano at Dior presented fuschia pinks married with acid yellows and tangerines, carved onto the classic Christian Dior hourglass form, shaped to the female figure.
The models strutted through a set decked out like the terraces of a mansion, snaking past a silver cadillac registered "DIOR JG" and around statues of silver horses.
