- Story Text: - INTRO: Movie star Liz Taylor has celebrated her 65th birthday in style with a star-studded bash in downtown Hollywood.
Stars and wannabes rushed to be on the guest list of the Liz Taylor birthday bash, being filmed for American television and costing a cool 1000 U.S. dollars a ticket.
In typical Taylor style the money raised from the evening with be donated to her foundation to help AIDS sufferers and research into the disease.
The elegant star arrived in a limousine with her close friend Michael Jackson on hand to escort her into the venue. Fans screamed and cheered for the two of them.
Taylor, due to undergo a brain tumour operation very soon, looked a little unsteady on her feet but delighted to be part of the event.
