- Story Text: Dubbed by many as the world's whackiest comedy team for the Internet generation, The Lonely Island trio continue to rock Saturday Night Live and You Tube with their hilarious digital shorts.
The Emmy winning Andy Samberg and his crazy creative team now get ready to release their first musical record, "Incredibad" that includes the popular song "Jizz in my pants.' Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer talk about the success of the new short film that became the most watched video on Youtube overnight.
"It was important to us that it aired though because it was very educational for a lot o young men and a lot of people really learnt about themselves that night," said Samberg.
The goofy boys, childhood friends from Berkeley California, say working on the album was a whole new experience from making digital shorts.
'The Lonely Island' member Jorma Taccone talks about the recording process.
Said Taccone, "To tell you the truth in terms of the recording process it was not that different. We had a big house in Los Angeles . We basically made it like we always make our stuff. We had a little box with pro-tools, a home computer recording device and made it in a room without any real sound proofing."
The raunchy group, whose digital shorts have become a 'must watch' on SNL, are also appearing in movie roles and a possible tour in 2009. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
