- Story Text: Jamaica lost 5-0 to former world champions Argentina, but the real contest seemed to be whose fans could party the most after the match.
Sunday's (June 21) game in Paris effectively spelt the end of Jamaica's ambitions in the World Cup.But that did not stop fans from celebrating long after the match had finished to the blaring tones of reggae.
While supposed soccer fans clashed with police elsewhere in France, the Argentine and Jamaican fans set a good example of sportsmanship, cheering and celebrating together under the eyes of only a handful of police.
As far as the match went, one Jamaican said: "We've got some skill in there, but not enough." An Argentine fan said it was a great game and Argentina will win the cup.
