- Story Text: The United States Secretary of State, Dr. Henry Kissinger, reiterated on Sunday (16 February) that his country would not meet the Palestine Liberation Organisation until the P.L.O. recognises the existence of Israel.
Dr. Kissinger was speaking to newsmen after talks with the West German Foreign Minister, Hans Dietrich Genscher. The two men discussed the Middle East situation, Cyprus and the outlook for the European security conference in Geneva.
The Secretary of State also talked with Chancellor Helmut Schmidt on the results of his latest Middle East peace moves.
He left Bonn later on Sunday for Geneva, where he is to meet Soviet Foreign Minister Andrei Gromyko.
