Story Text: A rocket attack in central Baghdad claims three lives, police say. A rocket landed on a commercial street in central Baghdad on Tuesday (March 13), killing three people and wounding six, police said.
Witnesses said those killed were pupils from a nearby primary school.
"It targeted the civilians. It is only a residential area, there is no office here," said Abu Mustafa, a witness. "Those who were killed were only pupils, innocent pupils who have nothing to do with government and politics. They are only innocent pupils."
The attack occurred despite efforts by U.S. and Iraqi forces to enforce a security crackdown in the Iraqi capital.
