- Story Text: Hundreds of Robbie Williams fans took to the cinemas of Europe of Tuesday (October 20) to watch the entertainer's comeback concert live on the big screen. Williams' first show in the UK for three years, which was the opening night of the BBC Electric Proms, was beamed live from London to more than 200 cinemas across Europe.
Fans at a sold-out cinema in the German city of Munich were delighted with the singer's London performance, which was attended by some 3,000 fans.
"He is a fantastic entertainer. I didn't know all of the new songs but I am certainly looking forward to the CD," said Carolin Wiggerl.
"It was great. It was just over a bit too quickly," Williams' fan Felix Appelt told Reuters.
The singer's new album, "Reality Killed the Video Star", Williams', his first for three years, is released on Nov. 9.
Since launching his solo career after leaving Take That, he has sold more than 55 million albums worldwide, and sold 1.6 million tickets in one day for his 2006 tour, EMI's Virgin Records said. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
