- Story Text: Paris St German defender Maxwell on Tuesday (November 26) described the club's striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic "as very motivated" and said that the rest of the players relied on the Swedish player a lot.
Speaking at a news conference in Paris as his team prepared to face Olympiakos in the Champions League on Wednesday (November 27), Maxwell said: "I think he is very motivated, not only for the Champions League competition, but also for the championship (Ligue 1). All the games we have now, this series of eight games we are playing, we really need him for that. He knows his responsibility. He is very motivated, a professional as usual. He will try to strike a goal, some goals and give his maximum to the team. We rely a lot on him because he is a different player who can bring us a lot."
PSG, who will qualify for the Champions League last 16 if they get at least draw at home against Olympiakos, have scored in every game since their last defeat, a 1-0 reverse at Stade Reims on March 2.
PSG were firm favourites to have already confirmed their passage to the knockout stage of the competition but at 1-1 draw at home to Anderlecht, who they had beaten 5-0 in Belgium, means that they still need a point to confirm their progress. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
