- Story Text: Borussia Dortmund fans were inconsolable on Saturday (May 25) after their team lost the Champions League final to German rivals Bayern Munich 2-1 in Wembley Stadium.
Despite earlier celebrations as Ilkay Gundogan scored from the penalty spot to equalise, the fans looked shocked as Dutchman Arjen Robben scored the winning goal for Bayern in the 89th minute.
Many Dortmund fans could be seen crying and embracing one another as they left the public viewing area in central Dortmund. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
