- Story Text: The Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al Hariri has been meeting French President Jacques Chirac for talks at the Elysee Palace in Paris.
The Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Al Hariri visited the French President Jacques Chirac at the Elysee Palace on Saturday (September 22) to discuss the situation and the fight against terrorism, following the attacks in New York and Washington.
After lunch, Prime Minister Hariri took time to speak to journalists outside the palace "We condemn this act of terror. We have been victims of terrorism in the past years. We have already three Lebanese who have been killed in this act in New York, so we feel with the Americans, we feel with every father and mother and woman or man who lost loved people in that accident, in that act,"
he said.
President Chirac is also expected to receive the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Monday (September 24).
