- Story Text: Russian President Vladimir Putin meets Jordan's King Abdullah in his country residence near Moscow.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Jordan's King Abdullah ll discussed expansion of the economic ties, military and technical cooperation, as well as problems of peace settlement in the Middle East during their meeting in Moscow on Tuesday (February 19).
"Your Majesty, you are always a welcomed guest in our country," Vladimir Putin said welcoming him at Russian president's official residence in Novo Ogaryovo in the Moscow countryside.
"Despite moderate absolute indicators of our mutual trade turnover it is constantly growing and growing rapidly. Military and technical ties are growing. And we are always in contact on important international issues," Putin said.
Jordan's King said that economic ties between the two countries as well as cooperation between intelligence agencies were good.
"As you said, our military relationships are excellent and our continued intelligence relations in combating terrorism wherever that may be, is outstanding," said King Abdullah.
