- Story Text: Dozens of Muslim leaders arrived at Paris's Bataclan concert hall on Tuesday (July 11), the site of the deadly November 13 attacks in 2015, as part of a European tour of recent Islamist attack sites to remember victims and condemn violence.
Led by the imam of a Paris suburb Drancy, Hassen Chalghoumi, Muslim clerics and other tour participants from various countries including France, Belgium, Britain and Tunisia stood by a plaque for the victims of the attacks outside the theatre to pray and lay roses.
On the day of the attack, assailants burst through the Bataclan's main entrance and sprayed automatic gunfire into the crowd as the Californian rock band the Eagles of Death Metal played on stage. They executed some victims and took others hostage.
The "march against terrorism" began in Paris on Saturday (July 8), continued onto Berlin on Sunday (July 9), Brussels on Monday (July 10) and will move to Nice on July 14 for the first anniversary of the Nice truck attack. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
