- Date: 8th June 2017
- Summary: LONDON, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM (JUNE 6, 2017) (REUTERS) (SOUNDBITE) (English) RACHEL WEISZ, ACTRESS, ON ANY FUN OR CHALLENGING MOMENTS WHILE FILMING, SAYING: "Depends what you mean 'fun'. There was a moment that was terrifying but now looking back on it sort of fun. So the horse I rode, I had to learn to ride side-saddle, which was a first, which is challenging in a corset and a big dress, he had been trained on Game of Thrones to die when you pulled his left rein very sharply which I didn't know. It was nobody's fault, I mean, Camilla who trains the horse, she's an exemplary horse trainer, but it was just like a random thing that happened. So I canted out of shot and stopped and pulled the left rein, and he very gracefully buckled his front legs and his back legs and died on his left side, which was the side I was on, under me, and everyone went... It was a terrifying moment because I didn't know if I'd get crushed but I was fine. I lived to tell the tale. Is that funny? (Reporter off camera: "Not funny. It's eventful") (laughs) eventful. Eventful." (SOUNDBITE) (English) IAIN GLEN, ACTOR, SAYING: "The lady who was in charge of the horse was the same one as we have on (Game of) Thrones, and I think the horse might have been one that I mounted during the course of the last seven years of so. HOLLIDAY GRAINGER, ACTRESS SAYING: "Apparently, that was why the horse knew how to play dead (in this film) cause it (had) learned it from Game of Thrones. GLEN: "Really?" GRAINGER: "Yeah." GLEN: "There you go." REPORTER: "It didn't recognise you?" GLEN: "No, it didn't recognise me." LONDON, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM (JUNE 7, 2017) (REUTERS) (SOUNDBITE) (English) SAM CLAFLIN, ACTOR, ON WHAT CHALLENGES HE FACED DURING FILMING, SAYING: "I mean dark moments would definitely be when I was naked for periods of time (laughs). It's the first time I've been completely naked ever - not ever, but like in film, on film, especially in water. That was, as you can imagine, quite a difficult challenge to try and get over."

- Story Text: Actress Rachel Weisz told Reuters she nearly got flatten by a horse trained on TV series "Game of Thrones" to die.
The star of new period mystery drama/romance, "My Cousin Rachel", explained the horse had been trained to 'lay down dead' when the left rein was pulled, and it buckled under her when she was riding side-saddle during filming. Co-star and Ser Jorah Mormont in "Game of Thrones", Iain Glen, who plays Kendall in "My Cousin Rachel", thinks he mounted the very same horse during his seven-year period playing the exiled knight in the TV series.
"The lady who was in charge of the horse was the same one as we have on (Game of) Thrones, and I think the horse might have been one that I mounted during the course of the last seven years of so.", told the Scottish actor.
Sam Claflin who is Philip, Rachel's younger, less worldly-wise cousin in "My Cousin Rachel", revealed his 'darkest moment' during filming was when he had to appear fully naked, especially challenging in water scenes. He described his character's response to the mysterious and alluring Rachel as like that of a 'high school boy' experiencing women for the very first time.
Weisz, Claflin and Glen were joined by actress Holliday Grainger in London to discuss the interwoven relationships and disturbing sexual tension at play in the dark, layered romance adapted from a Daphne du Maurier novel of the same name by writer-director Roger Michell. The story is of a young Englishman (Philip) who plots revenge against his mysterious and beautiful cousin (Rachel), believing that she murdered his guardian. His feelings become complicated as he finds himself falling helplessly and obsessively in love with her.
